(3) Data processing by LSE Space
We operate our Facebook/Instagram page to draw attention to our services and products and to get in touch with you. Your personal data, which is made available to us when you contact us, will be processed by us for event-related contact. Your request and your data will not be stored outside of the social networks.
The operation of this Facebook/Instagram page and the processing of users' personal data is based on our legitimate interest in up-to-date information and interaction options for and with our users and visitors in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
(4) Data processing by Meta
We would like to point out that you use this Facebook/Instagram page and its functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating).
When you visit our Facebook/Instagram page, Meta records, among other data, your IP address and other information that is available on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook/Instagram-pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook/Instagram page. Meta provides more information about this under the following link:
http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights
https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/?section_id=1-WhatInformationDoWe
The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Meta and, if necessary, transferred to countries outside the European Union. Meta describes what information Meta receives and how it is used in general terms in its privacy center. There you will also find information about how to contact Meta and how to set up advertisements. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link:
https://www.facebook.com/privacy/center/
https://privacycenter.instagram.com/
The full privacy policy of Facebook/Instagram can be read here:
http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy
https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/
How Meta uses the data from visiting our Facebook/Instagram page for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook/Instagram page are assigned to individual users, how long Meta stores this data and whether data from a visit of our Facebook/Instagram page passed on to third parties is not named conclusively and clearly by Meta and is not known to us.
When you access a Facebook/Instagram page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Meta. According to Meta, this IP address will be anonymized (in the case of "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Meta also stores information about its users' end devices (e.g. as part of the "registration notification" function); if necessary, Meta is therefore able to assign IP addresses to individual users.
If you are currently logged in to Facebook/Instagram as a user, there is a cookie with your Facebook/Instagram ID on your end device. This enables Meta to understand that you have visited this site and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook/Instagram pages. Facebook/Instagram buttons integrated into websites enable Meta to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook/Instagram profile. Based on this data, content or advertising tailored to you can be offered.
If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook/Instagram or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and exit and restart your browser. In this way, Facebook/Instagram information through which you can be directly identified will be deleted. This allows you to use our Facebook/Instagram page without revealing your Facebook/Instagram ID. When you access interactive features of the site (like, comment, share, message, etc.), a Facebook/Instagram login screen appears. After you have logged in, Meta will recognize you again as a specific user.
Information on how to manage or delete existing information about you can be found on the following Facebook/Instagram support pages:
https://www.facebook.com/privacy/center/
https://privacycenter.instagram.com/
Meta has full access to the user data and is available for information and questions about your rights as a user (e.g. right to deletion). Please use the information on the following page for this purpose:

This is the case if the processing is not necessary, in particular, for the fulfilment of a contract with you, which is shown by us in each case in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done.
