Technical Requirements

The main tasks of the position will be:

 

·         Support GMS operations integration, preparation and validation activities

·         Support the preparation of GMS Operations Plan including the maintenance of the operational products

·         Prepare/support/execute GMS related system operation validation activities (SVT/SCTC/ETE)

·         Prepare/support/execute software engineering activities.

·         Ensure/support GMS databases preparation, coordination, synchronisation, verification

·         Give support to training and sim campaign

·         Monitor performance of ground services and trigger corrective actions

·         Generate and maintain ground/mission operations documentation

·         Follow up/support reviews and milestones

·         Interface to the management and ground/flight/mission operations team

·         Generate reports as required

·         Take over ground/mission position/duty on call as requested

·         Generation of weekly reports and contribution to project relevant documents

Academic Requirements

Academic and work related requirements: a University (or similar) degree in engineering – preferably in space studies -, physics or similar discipline and relevant work experience in ground and spacecraft operations preparation and execution is required.
