1. Contacting us by e-mail
On our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us by e-mail. If you contact us with regard to questions of any kind, you give us your consent for the purpose of contacting you (legal basis: DSGVO Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a). When you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide (your e-mail address, your name, if applicable, and your other contact data) will be stored by us in order to respond to your request. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal obligations to retain data. You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation.

2. Application and contact via our Career page
We have set up our career page so that you can submit a speculative or targeted application for one of our advertised vacancies. Here we ask you to send us your application documents and contact details. We provide an application form for this purpose. We use the ReachMee solution from Talentech Group AS, Nydalsveien 12B, 0484 Oslo, Norway.

For the purposes of receiving and processing your application, we process your personal data depending on the scope of the personal data you have submitted. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the decision or the establishment of an employment relationship in accordance with Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act. We use the solution of the provider Talentech Group AS on the legal basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1) f) DS-GVO. When selecting the provider, we ensured that the requirements of the GDPR were implemented and that we had the corresponding guarantees provided via a contract.

Alternatively, you can send us your application documents by e-mail or in an access-protected file. Please contact us in this regard and provide us with the information we need to access your application documents.

As part of the application process, it may be necessary to transfer applicant data to the parent company SSC Space, which is based in Sweden. The legal basis for this data transfer is our legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6 (1) f) DS-GVO. This transfer can be objected to at any time at the following e-mail address dataprotection@lsespace.com.

Applicant data will be deleted after a period of 6 months after the vacancy has been filled. Before this period expires, this data will be maintained to the best of our knowledge and belief. This applicant-related data will only be used for the purpose of selecting applicants for vacancies.

3. Web analytics with Google Analytics
On our websites, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; hereinafter "Google" (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see paragraph "Cookies") are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (such as browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL - i.e. the previously visited page-, hostname of the accessing computer - i.e. the IP address-, time of the server request etc.) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services associated with the use of the website and the internet for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymised so that an allocation is not possible (IP masking).

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. These processing operations will only be carried out if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a DS-GVO.

Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on.

As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by setting an opt-out cookie here. The opt-out cookie prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found, for example, in the Google Analytics help (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de) and in Google's data protection declaration (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de).

4. Storage of web server logs
In order to ensure and monitor the stability and security of our application, we store personal data in log files. In addition to your email address, this includes IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred in each case, the website from which the request came, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software. The data is processed by our hosting service provider managedhosting.de GmbH, Friedrichstr. 191, 10117 Berlin. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (DS-GVO Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f). We store this data for a period of up to 6 months.

5. Links to our social media profiles
On our website, you will find links to our profiles on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We do not actively transmit any additional information to the platform operator for these links. However, with each link call, various data is transferred to the platform operator from your browser, including the information that you have previously visited our site. If you are already logged in to the social media platform, this data may be assigned to your profile and used by the platform operator for further purposes.

6. Use of cookies/cookie policy
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small files that enable your browser to store specific information related to you on your PC or other end devices while you are using our website. However, this does not mean that we have any direct knowledge of your identity.

We use cookies to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use temporary cookies to optimise user-friendliness; these are stored on your end device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognised that you have already been to our site and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

In addition, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offer for you. These cookies enable us to automatically recognise that you have already been to our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and statistics cookies. We set technically necessary cookies on the legal basis of our legitimate interest (DS-GVO Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f). We only set statistics cookies with your consent (legal basis DS-GVO Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a).

To manage your consent to or rejection of cookies, we use the cookie consent tool "CookieBot". This is a service of the Danish company Usercentrics A/S. We use this service on the legal basis of legitimate interest.
To save your cookie preference, this tool itself sets a technically necessary cookie. In addition, if you have given us your consent to set cookies, the tool offers the possibility to revoke given consent on cookies. Please follow up on our Cookie Policy here.

§3 Data transfer to third countries

Your personal data processed via our website will only be transferred to a recipient in a third country in the case of your consent when processed anonymously by Google Analytics. Beyond that, we do not identify any of your personal data to recipients in third countries.

§4 Objection or revocation to the processing of your data

(1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail to dataprotection@lsespace.com is sufficient for the revocation. The lawfulness of the processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of your consent up to its revocation is not affected by this. However, such revocation will affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to us.

(2) Where we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is not necessary, in particular, for the fulfilment of a contract with you, which is shown by us in each case in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your justified objection, we will review the merits of the case and either cease or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.
