The "Launch & Early Orbit Phase" (LEOP) of the Sentinel-3B satellite was completed in just twenty-five hours following the launch on April 25th. The spacecraft is safely flying in his orbit now. The ESA/ESOC Flight Control Team is currently performing the commissioning activities to get the satellite ready for its oceans observation mission.
SSC supports the mission with Engineering Services supporting the ESOC and EUMETSAT flight control teams, and the Satellite Management Services division providing ground station networks for the LEOP.
